FOOD FOR THE HEART
DEBUTING ON DVD FROM RAZOR DIGITAL ENTERTAINMENT

LOS ANGELES -- What do you get when you mix family, friends, food and some divine intervention? On November 30, Razor Digital Entertainment (RDE) will premiere the warm, offbeat comedy, Food For The Heart on DVD and VHS. Starring Jorja Fox (“CSI: Crime Scene Investigation”) and Bill Nunn (Spider-Man 2), Food For The Heart explores the notion that anything is possible when you have good friends. Available for $24.99 S.R.P., the Food For The Heart DVD features a behind-the-scenes featurette, and will be released on VHS for the same price.

Produced by Amy Sommer, producer of the Emmy™ Award-winning and Oscar™ nominated documentary, “Waco: The Rules of Engagement.” Food For The Heart features a talented ensemble cast including Michael Des Barres (1970’s band, “Detective,” Diary of a Sex Addict), Paul Provenza (Fixing Frank) and Suzanne Mora (The Traveling Companion).

A celebration of life, love acceptance and family, Food For The Heart is about two best friends, Delmar (Fox) and Hortense (Mara), whose culinary talents and gift for hospitality lead the two women to host evenings of love and laughter with an eccentric circle of friends. Delmar's dream is to open a restaurant, but she needs money to do so. In an effort to please his boss, Hortense's boyfriend, Stanley (Provenza) makes Delmar an offer that will help her raise the money. But as life sometimes goes, nothing happens as planned and yet everything happens as it should. With the help of her newfound friend Moses (Nunn), Delmar opens the restaurant - but no one is prepared for the wonderful surprise that changes everyone's lives.
